Mighty and loving God,
you so loved the world
that you sent your own Son
to be our savior.
You did not send your Son
into the world
to condemn the world
but that we might be saved by him.

Hear our prayers
and help us to live
as those who have been saved
by the Blood of the cross.

Open our eyes to see your grace at work
in both our sufferings and our joys.

We ask this in the name of Jesus the Lord.
